‘Acheni ushamba’ – Esma Platnumz explains why Diamond’s lips shine

Diamond Platnumz’s sister, Esma Platnumz, has explained why Diamond Platnumz’s lips appear shiny, shutting down speculation sparked by a random post online.
The post questioned what Diamond applies to his lips, asking, “Kwani anko (Diamond Platnumz) anapaka nini mdomoni Lips zinameremeta.”
Esma on Instagram on Thursday, December 25, 2025, responded and said there was nothing unusual about it.
She shared a photo and addressed the issue in her own words.
“Acheni ushamba nawajibu sasa hiii ni lip balm,” Esma said. She explained that the product is something Diamond uses regularly and that it is simple and common.
Esma went on to explain how Diamond gets the product. “Ambayo Uncle wake Tahiya huwa anamnunulia Akisafiri au anaOrder,” she said.
According to her, the lip balm is easy to find and not a special or hidden product.

She added that the product is widely available. “Zinapatikana sana Uk km mnataka na nyinyi mtajiwe jina,” Esma said.
She noted that there is nothing secret about it and anyone can buy it if they want.
Why Esma spoke out on the issue
Esma explained why the product works well.
“Ni nzuri kwa lips inaMoisturize vizuri tu,” she said. She stressed that the shine on Diamond’s lips comes from simple lip care and nothing else.

Despite clearing the air, Esma showed some frustration in her response.
“Ila Binaadamu nachoka mimi,” she said, suggesting she was tired of repeatedly addressing such questions about her brother.
Esma and Diamond are siblings, and she is known to speak up when it comes to matters involving him. While Diamond is a major Bongo star, Esma is a businesswoman who often defends and explains issues related to her brother when they arise.
Her response focused only on explaining the product and setting the record straight. When she said“Acheni ushamba,” Esma wanted it to be known that the issue was being blown out of proportion.
She maintained that the shiny lips are simply a result of using lip balm and nothing more. With her explanation, Esma clarified the situation and said that proper lip care is normal and should not be turned into unnecessary talk.
