Zippy Okoth gushes over lover Webston Kimani

Taking to her official social media channels on Thursday, August 28, 2025, Zippy shared a cute photo of them with a caption describing Kimani as her “man” after he went to pick her from Naivasha.

Fairytale love story
The couple’s relationship has garnered public attention, with many intrigued by their dynamic and the journey that led to their union. Their story began on social media, where a playful interaction sparked a connection that blossomed into romance.
Despite a ten-year age difference, Zippy has emphasised that age has never been a barrier for them. She admires Webston’s authenticity, kindness, and the way he has helped her overcome personal fears, including her fear of heights and travelling.
Speaking about their bond with Oduor Jagero in an interview aired on Friday, August 22, 2025, on his YouTube channel, she said that what drew her most to Kimani was his authenticity, adding that the YouTuber does not fake his life or personality.
“I like how open he is with himself; he is not faking anything. Kim is not faking anything; he is not faking his life, he is not faking what he is or what he is not, he gives himself as he is, and I think I have fallen in love with that,” she said.
The award-winning filmmaker added that their relationship has defied odds and stereotypes.
“This relationship has broken a lot of barriers, ethic barriers, age barriers, we have broken every barrier,” Zippy said.
The magic post
Interestingly, Zippy and Kimani’s love story began on Facebook, but what started as lighthearted banter turned into something serious.
She says the Facebook post about her experience on a motorbike and how she wishes to have a boyfriend who rides a bike was a joke, however, Kimani’s comment on the post sparked a conversation that later blossomed into their relationship.
On the other hand, Kimani says that for over three years, he was crushing on Zippy, without making a move, believing she was out of his league, and her post about the rider was a game-changer for him.
