After four impactful years together, gospel music ensemble Weka Tick Crew, comprising Jabidii, Iam Ocampo, Didiman, and Timeless Noel, has announced an indefinite hiatus.

In an official letter dated Friday, August 1, 2025, the crew expressed a heartfelt desire to focus on personal growth and launch their individual brands.

Although the group did not cite any internal conflict, all four members made clear that this is not a breakup but rather a collective leap of faith into solo artistry.

“END OF THE ROAD FOR WEKA TICK. It’s been an incredible four years of four brothers working together, all for the glory of God,” they announced.

“We Are grateful for the opportunity God gave us to be a blessing to you through our Crafts as a weka tick. As we start this new journey that demands growth, we have come to an agreement to let you experience our individual brands. Thank you all for your immense support.Regards, Jabidii, Iam Ocampo, Didiman and Timelessnoel.”

Timeless’s reasons

The media personality said that his decision to step aside from Weka Tick had come after realising that his passion for dance had grown to a point where it now outweighed his love for music.

He explained that he felt a profound calling to focus fully on his dance ministry and that he had a well‑planned vision requiring his complete time and focus.

Noel added that he was ready to mentor dancers to serve God through their gift, affirming that Weka Dance had awakened this passion within him, and he was now one hundred per cent sure that dance ministry was his true calling.

“My decision to step aside from Weka Tick comes from a realisation that my passion for dance has grown to a point where it now outweighs my passion for music. I feel a profound calling to fully focus on my dance ministry. I have a well-planned vision that needs my complete time and focus, and I am ready to mentor dancers to serve God through their gift. I believe that Weka Dance woke this passion within me, and I am now 100% sure that dance ministry is my true calling,” he said.

“My musical journey with Weka Tick was an amazing chapter, and while I may release a song in the future, it will be purely a dance song. My heart is now set on mentoring dancers to use their gift to praise God.”

“It has been four years of amazing, memorable moments, and now I am ready to invest in our friendship.”
