Ugandan singer Dexter Rapper reveals what he dislikes about Kenyan women

Viral for his much-talked-about waist-whining challenge done with his father, Ugandan singer Dexter Rapper, has now shared his thoughts on the one thing he finds less appealing about Kenyan women.
The rapper, who was speaking to content creator President Law on Sunday, July 20, 2025, just a day after he landed in the country, was full of excitement as he talked about Kenya, describing everything about it as beautiful, including the hospitality and warmth that Kenyans show to visitors.
While still on the subject, however, Dexter was quick to remark that although Kenyan women have good figures and are attractive, they lack the slim waists that give Ugandan women the perfect hourglass shape.
“Ladies here are so attractive, but they do not have the kind of fine waistlines that Ugandan ladies have. Ugandan women eat less and maintain their shape, and they have those beautiful waists. Here, I have seen some girls with bellies, and I do not understand where those bellies are coming from. But all I can say is that Kenyan girls are very beautiful, just as Ugandan girls are,” he said.
Waist challenge sensation
The rapper shot to fame after videos of him performing at a local club in the Yoweri Museveni-led country, together with his father, went viral on social media.
The videos captured Dexter whining his waist perfectly before his ageing father joined him on stage, showcasing an even more compelling and fascinating style of waist-whining that left netizens in admiration of their talent.
Following the viral sensation, Dexter quickly became one of the most booked artistes in Uganda, commanding attention and praise for his unique performance style.
Days before his arrival in Kenya, he had travelled to Tanzania, where he also performed.

On that note, the rapper acknowledged that Kenyans had played a major role in amplifying his rise to fame by enthusiastically participating in his waist challenge.
“You people have been doing the challenge, and Kenyan people, we love you so much for that. Nairobi people, Uganda loves you so much, and there is such a strong connection between Uganda and Kenya,” Dexter said with gratitude.
Favourite Kenyan artistes
In the same interview, Dexter was asked about which Kenyan singers he considers his favourites or whose music he listens to most frequently.
On that, Dexter explained that he loves all Kenyan artistes but emphasised that he is particularly drawn to Jana Kuliendaje hitmaker Mejja and rapper Khaligraph Jones.
“I love all of them, but I can tell you there are some lyrics that truly stand out for me. For example, Mejja, when he says naweza kufungua bra na mkono moja — I like that. That is my favourite artiste, and Khaligraph Jones too, especially for songs like Yes Bana,” he added.
