Triza Njeri posts divine warning to those wishing her harm
By Steve Ireri, August 23, 2025Kikuyu gospel singer Triza Njeri has issued a powerful and unwavering spiritual message, warning those she says are counting her days that God will act against them from now to eternity.
In a post shared on her Facebook page on Saturday, August 23, 2025, Triza insisted that she knows how God works and that He delivers final judgement against all who wish harm on others.
She warned anyone planning evil against her that God’s actions would be decisive and permanent, urging them to change their ways and seek the path of righteousness.
“Wega wa Ngai witu nderagwo uria egwika…aciraga cira nakihoto na Akautua nama na roho….acio maragutarira matuku Ngai aromaconorithia kuma riu nginya tene na tene,” Triza wrote, which is loosely translated to “The goodness of our God is not determined by what we do or where we go. Our God makes final judgments, guided by devotion of the heart. All those who are counting our days before we perish will soon be put to shame, for God will embarrass them from now and forever.”

Triza’s declaration comes shortly after she confirmed that she has moved on from her tumultuous polygamous marriage with Karangu Muraya.
Earlier, she had sparked widespread speculation about her love life by urging friends and fans to start making vitenges, the traditional attire worn at weddings and pre-wedding events, hinting at a potential new romance or pre-wedding celebrations.
She later confirmed in response to a fan’s inquiry that she is “taken,” officially signalling a new chapter in her personal life.
“Tell him I am already taken,” she responded to a fan.
Muraya’s apology
Her statement comes just days after her estranged hubby, Karangu Muraya, publicly apologised to her in a heartfelt admission after weeks of public criticism and online backlash.
In a Facebook post on the night of Saturday, August 2, 2025, Karangu acknowledged his shortcomings, confessed to making regrettable mistakes in his marriage, and pleaded for forgiveness, not only from Triza but also from his supporters, critics, and the wider public.
The ‘Gutiri Mugwi’ crooner admitted that he had allowed external pressures, including fame, politics, and criticism, to distract him from protecting what mattered most: his home.
“Today, I want to pour my heart out and speak to Triza Mamake Muraya, the mother of my children. Triza, I have wronged you. I have said and done things that have caused you pain. I know I have failed you, and I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I’m sorry for allowing people I assumed were your friends to discuss you,” Karangu wrote.

He said he recognised the toll his public statements and social media outbursts had taken on his family, particularly Triza, who recently urged him to embrace silence and protect his peace rather than continually explaining himself to online critics.
The singer, who has found himself in the middle of intense public scrutiny following his interactions with political leaders like President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, noted that the weight of criticism had pushed him into a defensive posture, prompting several emotional livestreams.
However, in this latest message, he said he was not defending himself but rather seeking grace.
“I also hope you’ll remember the many moments I’ve genuinely loved, supported, and stood by you. I ask for your grace, not because I deserve it, but because I still deeply value our family. Please find it in your heart to remember both my wrong and my many rights.”
