Terence creative recounts his life as an addict and chain smoker
Content creator Terence Creative has opened up about his painful past, recalling how he once lived as an addict and chain smoker before turning his life around.
In a statement on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Terence said his addiction almost consumed him, but he is grateful for the unwavering support of his then-girlfriend, now wife, Milly Chebby, who stood by him even in his lowest moments.

“This is how I used to look when I was an addict and chain smoker, my then girlfriend, now my wife, took me always to the club nikunywe bia zangu mbili alafu twende nyumbani,” he wrote.
Terence emphasised that her patience and consistency helped him slowly detach from his destructive lifestyle, reminding him that love and discipline were key in reclaiming his life.
“I thank her for her support, and this serves as a reminder that your decisions determine your destiny,” he added.
Terence on being supported by his wife
This comes almost a year after Terence indicated that his wife of 11 years, Milly Chebby, supported him for four years without ever complaining.
“Mimi niliwekwa for 4 years plus, my then girlfriend Milly Chebby who is my wife now of 11 years plus, used to pay 98.9 per cent of all our bills,” Terence said in a statement.
The humourist with over 3 million followers across various social media platforms also advised female partners in relationships to support their men without losing respect for them until they are stable.

This came after Alma Mutheu confronted her boyfriend, Gift Muziq, whom she said she had supported for the last two years, noting that she was tired of shouldering all the household responsibilities.
