Milly Chebby’s nanny overwhelmed after fan offers to clear her 6 months’ rent

Content creator Milly Chebby’s nanny, Mercy, was left emotional after a fan offered to pay her rent for six months after learning that she had fallen behind on her payments.
In a video posted on Instagram on Thursday, August 20, 2026, Milly shared the emotional moment as she surprised Mercy with the news, revealing that the gesture came after she and her husband, Terence Creative, had previously paid Mercy’s children’s Term 3 school fees.
Milly said a woman identified as Linda reached out after watching the video about Mercy and expressed her desire to support her.
According to Milly, Linda offered to cover six months’ rent after learning about Mercy’s financial struggles.
“After sharing her story, one of you reached out to me and said, ‘I want to do something for Mercy,’” Milly wrote.
Milly revealed that Mercy had accumulated Ksh4,500 in rent arrears.
“Mercy had fallen behind on her rent and had a debt 4500. This amazing person offered to pay her rent for 6 months. They immediately paid 2 months’ rent,” Milly wrote.
The gesture left Mercy overwhelmed and in tears as Milly and her family surprised her with the news.
Mercy breaks down
Milly described the latest gesture as another surprise for her nanny, who had already received support towards her children’s education.
“So today, we surprise Mercy AGAIN!” Milly wrote.
The content creator thanked Linda for stepping in to support Mercy during a difficult period.

“To the beautiful soul who reached out and made this possible, asante sana, Linda. May your kindness come back to you a hundredfold,” Milly wrote.
The latest act of generosity came after Milly and Terence paid Mercy’s children’s school fees for the third term.
Milly said the earlier gesture was part of her wider desire to support children from the school who face financial challenges.
Milly seeks support
Milly said she hopes to eventually support at least 100 children at the school with school fees and meals.
“And it is my prayer that, together, we can eventually support at least 100 children in that school with their school fees and meals,” Milly wrote.
She also appealed to her followers to contribute towards the initiative, saying every contribution could help provide education and meals for needy children.
