Mugiithi maven Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh has paid tribute to his late mum Miriam Wairimu.

Taking to social media, Samidoh says his mother who passed away while he was still in High school remains to be his biggest source of inspiration.

“Wherever u are, wherever I will go, you will remain my source of inspiration!!” Samidoh captioned the photo.

The Mumbi hitmaker also attributed his success to her saying;

“I am Because you were!.#Maituwairimu (My mother Wairumu)#niwathiirenaihenya (You left us too soon) Nikio ndaguciarire na ngiguciara ringi (That is why I named two of my daughters after you.)”

In her reaction to the singer’s post, his baby mama and nominated senator Karen Nyamu praised her parenting skills and further wished that the babies named after Samidoh’s mum would take after her.

“She raised a kind-hearted man, and that’s her legacy. Tu wairimu tukamutukia (May the Wairimus’ take after her.)

Karen and the singer have two children together a son and a daughter named after Samidoh’s mother and another daughter with his wife Edday still named Wairimu.

This comes as the singer pushes on with his USA tour to 11 states cutting across Boston, Arizona, Kansas, Spokane, Seattle, Los Angeles, Indiana, Atlanta, Ohio, Baltimore and finally Texas where he will be performing on December 3, 2022.
