Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has offered to employ former radio host and content creator, Andrew Kibe.
Taking to his Instagram account, on Friday, September 27, 2024, the youthful parliamentarian asked Kibe to be a content creator for his spa adding that he will be paying him a monthly salary of Ksh100K.
Emphasizing the offer, Salasya stated that he was sure Kibe could not earn Ksh100K per month.
Salasya’s job offer comes hours after warning the YouTuber against attacking him online to attract traffic from the content he is currently producing.
“@kibeandy kuja nikuandike kwa hii spa kama content creator wa hii spa yangu salary ni 100k because I am sure content creation can’t pay you more than 100K,” Salasya said.
He further asked those who hate him as a person and those who disagree with the content he posts on his social media platforms to kindly unfollow him.
“I have never forced anyone to follow me sasa kama hupendi mimi na vitu zangu unfollow kila mtu aende zake mimi sina hasara.”
Salasya and Kibe’s beef
The feud between Salasya and Kibe started after the former radio host called him out for chasing after veteran socialite Huddah Monroe.
Kibe’s numerous attacks forced the youthful parliamentarian to respond and on September 20, 2024, in a video shared on his Instagram account, Salasya asked Kibe to stop fanning the feud between him and Huddah adding that he (Salasya) has nothing personal with the beauty products entrepreneur the way the content creator puts it.
He went on to call out Kibe for double standards stating that the content creator first warned him about Huddah and after he publicly revealed he had given up hitting on her, Kibe went ahead to call him a dreamer because the socialite is way above his league.
“I want to talk to someone called Andrew Kibe, number one you are an attention-seeker first of all you told me about the lady ukasema ya kwamba msichana achana na huyo tukasema tumeachana then after kuwachana tena unarudi bro ati huyu msichana yeye anakunywa sijui umeita champagne,” Salasya said.
Salasya further agreed with Kibe that Huddah is way above his league but he warned the YouTuber against attacking him online stating that they are not equal, he is a leader while Kibe is a content creator.
“Lakini remember ata wewe ulikuja kwa hii industry hapa Nairobi kitambo kabla niingie lakini sahizi naweza kupanga naweza kukuweka kwa mshahara kwa sababu niko na biashara zangu ambazo zinaweza kukuweka wewe kwa mshahara so their is no way unaweza nidharau. Focus on contents za YouTube yako lakini wachana na mimi,” he added.
