Rachael Otuoma’s new hubby Jabilo reacts after fans warn against breaking her heart

Jabilo, the man currently dating Rachael Otuoma, the widow of the late football star Ezeliel Otuoma, has spoken out against what he described as selective sympathy and emotional bias in their relationship, insisting that fans only seem to care about Rachael’s emotional wellbeing and not his.
The TikTok personality, who has become increasingly visible online following his relationship with Rachael, made the remarks during a live TikTok broadcast on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
While responding to questions and comments from fans, Jabilo expressed frustration over the seemingly one-sided protection Rachael enjoys, warning that the same audiences cheering her on would be quick to crucify him if the relationship failed.
“I have seen people in the comments saying, ‘Jabilo, do not break Rachael’s heart,’ but nobody seems to care what happens to me. What if Rachael breaks my heart? Someone even said if she does, I should just walk away silently. That is hate. It is clear the sympathy is not mutual. People only care about her pain, not mine.”

Jabilo’s remarks were a direct response to a wave of social media criticism and warnings he has received from fans of Rachael, many of whom have grown fiercely loyal to her ever since she lost her husband, the late Ezeliel Otuoma.
Rachael’s take
Rachael, who has slowly made her way back into the limelight and re-embraced social media after mourning her husband, appeared beside Jabilo during the livestream and did not shy away from defending her fans’ loyalty.

She echoed their sentiments, making it clear that any form of betrayal in the relationship would be unacceptable and that her supporters had every right to be protective of her heart.
She, however, professed her love for Jabilo, saying he had completely swept her off her feet, as she continued to feed him fries during the TikTok session, which had attracted over 2,000 fans.
“If you break my heart, then it ends there. These people are right to care about me. They have been with me through my pain. They know my story. They stood with me when Ezeliel passed on. That is why they are saying, ‘Do not hurt our queen,’” she said firmly. “It is not because they hate you. It is because they know what I have been through.”
