Njambi Fever clashes with Lydia Wanjiru over her anti-marriage stand

The two personalities expressed sharply different opinions, sparking a debate among fans about relationships, commitment, and the meaning of forever.
Lydia Wanjiru had openly declared that marriage and raising children were not for her.
In her own words, in an Instastory on Thursday, September 4, 2025, she explained, “Mimi mambo na ndoa na kulea watoto. I don’t think it’s for me. Imagine living with your partner or child for the rest of your life. Mimi siwezi.”
Njambi Fever, however, did not hold back in her response. She questioned whether Lydia’s partner shared the same views or whether the relationship was simply a temporary arrangement.
“Is this what her boyfriend thinks, too? Or are they just cruising and wasting each other’s time? Make it make sense,” Njambi said.
Her remarks immediately drew attention, not only because of their bluntness but also because they opened up a wider conversation about the future of young relationships and the pressure to conform to traditional expectations.
Takes on love, family
The stand between the two highlighted how differently individuals can view love, marriage, and family life. While Lydia Wanjiru rejected the idea of settling down, Njambi Fever insisted that she is wired for companionship and long-term bonds.

Njambi explained that she cherishes family and does not consider marriage or children a burden.
“Mi sasa niko opposite kabisaaa. Mi napenda family. Napenda kupendwa na napenda kupenda. God forbid tuachane na baba mtoto;I know my heart would still crave love. I would still long for that forever type of bond,” she said.

“Ndio maana I said I might end up adopting if I feel like pregnancy itanilemea tena. I’ve always loved the idea of a husband, a partner I can share every season of life with,” Njambi added.
