Musician Kevin Kioko, alias Bahati has jokingly proposed to marry beautician Phoina Tosha as his second wife.

Speaking during the launch of Phoina’s beauty and skincare line, the musician wondered why the beautician has never introduced her boyfriend despite her success.

It was at this point that Bahati jokingly offered to take her in as his wife, which would mean a second wife now that he’s already married to Diana Marua.

“The only thing I am wondering Phoina is that you have not introduced us to your boyfriend. Mama Phoina natafuta pesa, naeza kumchukua kama bibi,” Bahati said amid laughs from the audience.

Bahati also spoke about Phoina’s impact on his music career, recalling her involvement in his transition from doing gospel music to the secular music industry.

“Thank you for always coming through for me. She is the person who came through for me when I was changing my music. She left her work in Nairobi for about four days to help me shoot the Wanani music video in Nanyuki.

“I am so humbled and appreciate the support you gave me then because today Wanani has become one of the biggest hit songs of my career,” Bahati said.
