Talented actor Blessing Lung’aho popularly known as Madiba has landed a role in Kenya’s first branded series produced by Netflix.
The global streaming company announced through a statement shared via its official social media stating that Lung’aho will be part of the new series Country Queen.

Netflix detailed that the series features a story of ordinary Kenyans fighting against a corporate power that threatens to destroy their homes and lives.
“The series focuses on the issues of land grabbing and exploitation, and how these factors impact the lives and relationships of the main characters, their families and communities,” Netflix wrote.
The film was shot in Nairobi, Machakos, and Murang’a counties this year.
Madiba to feature among the main characters
The Kalasha-nominated actor set to be among the main characters will feature alongside Melvin Alusa in the series that will begin streaming exclusively in the country on July 15.
He has featured on the local drama series Zora, Maria and Igiza.
