Koku Lwanga rules out getting back with Daddie Marto

Koku Lwanga has addressed speculations that she, together with her ex-husband, actor and media personality Daddie Marto, are planning to reunite after a heated online clash following their marriage fallout.

Koku, who was asked about her marital status and if she was getting back with her partner, dismissed the speculations.

She ruled out a reunion while responding to a blogger, widely known as Njambi Fever, on Friday, August 8, 2025, on Instagram, revealing that her ex-husband had humiliated her in ways she will not accept a chance again in their marriage.

Njambi, who enjoys a massive following, went ahead to share part of their conversation on her IG stories.

Aje, how akii someone who has humiliated me in ways I will never recover from?” Koku wrote.

Likewise, Koku went ahead and revealed that communication with his ex-husband, Daddie Marto, will be through a third party

Hata with the children, it will have to be a third-party communication,” Koku said.

Daddie Marto’s remarks on family

Worth noting, Koku’s remarks come just moments after Marto issued a public apology while vowing to protect his family following their heated online bash just after the duo had announced they were going their separate ways.

The Kenyan actor and media personality Daddie Marto issued a heartfelt apology on Friday, August 8, 2025, following a string of emotionally charged social media posts that stirred public conversation after his fallout with his wife.

Marto has vowed to protect his family amidst the online chaos while acknowledging that the recent events have taken a toll on him and the mother of his children, Koku Lwanga.

In a statement on his official Instagram account on Friday, August 8 2025, the Media personality revealed that after deep introspection and consultations with family, friends, and elders, he has decided to stop the online clash he has had with the mother of his children.

“And I am sorry for the ugliness of everything playing out online. I am shifting focus now to protecting my family from internal, external and spiritual attacks,” Marto wrote.

Also adding, “I have had time to sit with myself, sit with the counsel of friends, colleagues, family and elders. I will stop. I was angry, frustrated, and I broke. I am human. We have our limits. I am sorry for the ugliness.”

On his part, Marto has acknowledged protecting his family going forward after his recent online expressions, emphasising his commitment to regaining composure and focusing on what matters most, his family’s well-being

“I need to protect my family, which is very clearly under attack. I had removed the highlights, but I’ll bring back just the ones on the Diviner because I unfortunately discovered him long after he’d broken loose,” Marto said.
