‘Kids come with good fortunes’ – Jimal Rohosafi’s advice on success
Flamboyant businessman Jimal Rohosafi has advised his followers to consider having children if success keeps slipping through their fingers.
In a post on his Instagram stories on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the matatu industry boss suggested that children can be a secret ingredient for good fortune.
“Ukiona umejaribu kila kitu na huomoki, try kupata mtoi. Sometimes kids come with good fortunes,” Jimal stated.
Jimal is a proud father of three. He shares two children with his ex-wife, entrepreneur Amira, and has a daughter with his current partner, Wangari Thiong’o.

Jimal Rohosafi has been in a relationship with Wangari Thiongo, who he now calls his wife since his widely publicized separation from entrepreneur and influencer Amira.
After initially keeping their relationship private, the couple went public with their romance in February 2023 and welcomed their daughter shortly after.
“My wife looked at me and said, I know there’s someone you gonna love more than me and I said it’s true she is gonna call you mommy. Love you my angel Amal,” Jimal captioned a past post.
However, Wangari has another child from her past relationship.
Jimal has two sons with his first wife, Amira, with whom he finalized their divorce following a nasty breakup that was marked by the two airing their dirty linen on the internet.
Jimal, Amber Ray lose child
In 2022, Kenyan socialite Amber Ray disclosed that she had suffered a miscarriage while expecting a child with Jimal. Speaking in an interview, Amber, who had already parted ways with the businessman at the time, attributed the miscarriage to the stress she was experiencing.
“I even got pregnant for the guy and after that is when things came to light,” she stated.
Amber and Jimal’s highly publicized romance began in 2020 and was officially confirmed in December of that year, despite Jimal being married to Amira.
By April 2021, Amber Ray revealed that she had become Jimal’s second wife, but their union was short-lived, lasting only three months. She later announced their separation and their decision to go their separate ways.
Following the breakup, tensions escalated, leading to an intense online exchange involving Amira. However, despite their split, Amber and Jimal were later seen engaging in playful interactions on social media.
The situation became even more dramatic in November 2022 when Amira declared her plans to divorce Jimal, citing repeated instances of disrespect, including his renewed connection with Amber Ray.
