Hosted by K24 Jeff Mote this morning, Khaligraph said their meeting with the DP was not political neither a form of endorsement.

The rapper noted he and other artists in the industry including popular DJs met to discuss the state of the nation, raise their grievances, and offer possible solutions.

Some of the issues raised were the MCSK royalties where the artists said they want 50% of the royalties.

Artists suggested that they would also use their influence to flatten the curve and enable the government to ease the restrictions currently in place.

This comes days after rapper King Kaka and Octopizzo took to Twitter to call out Khaligraph suggesting that artists are just being opportunistic.

In response to the tweet, King Kaka refferd to Octopizzo as a ‘real one’.

Khaligraph responds in a hilarious Nigerian video of two men crying and captioned “Conversation between some of your Favorite Rappers right Now. MACHOSS TU. “

According to the rapper, more meetings are going to follow and the results will be gradual.
