A Kenyan business lady has stunned netizens after she bought her son a mansion on his 6th birthday.

Mercy Maluli, who owns a men’s clothing line in Nairobi, surprised her son, identified as Brayden, with a luxurious house claiming that the young lad has always dreamt of becoming a home owner.

The flamboyant businesswoman, who has worked with notable figures like radio host Felix Odiwuor alias Jalango to push her clothing line, shared photos of her elated son receiving the keys to his new house.

She claimed that Brayden has been praying for a new house after she made a commitment to buy him one. Maluli stated that she will always go all out for her kids, including purchasing for them expensive gifts.

“He has been praying for a house cause mummy promised one. God answered and he is the newest home owner in town. Anything for my boys. To brighter days ahead,” she captioned the photos.

Her post elicited reactions online with popular radio presenter Alex Mwakideu jokingly giving himself up for adoption.

“You bought him a house on his sixth birthday. Please adopt me Mercy Maluli, and happy birthday to your boy. More blessings to you and your family,” Mwakideu said.

A section of netizens has hailed the business lady for giving her son the best treat on his birthday. While another faction held the opinion that she went over board with the present, opining that a 6-year-old was not ripe to be a home owner.
