Karen Nyamu vowed not to stop wearing short revealing clothes even after some people poked fun at her beautiful but thin legs.
The politician’s lower limbs became a subject of discussion after she took to social media and shared of photo of herself clad in a yellow minidress that gave out her legs’ best-kept secret.
Narrating the story behind the yellow dress, the UDA-nominated senator said that her sweetheart bought her the outfit in 2020 when she followed him to Nyeri after being away from her for two days.
Karen Nyamu said her bae was attending a funeral in Nyeri and since she had only packed her casual wear, he bought her the yellow minidress.
“Hii nguo nilibuyiwa na mpoa wangu 2020, alikua amekaa nyeri 2 days nikaona amekaa sana nikaenda usiku lol. Alikua aende mazishi next day and since i had packed only casual looks, asubuhi tukazunguka nyeri town tukitafuta dress presentable 😃,” Karen Nyamu wrote.
Trolls, mostly women, poked fun at Karen Nyamu’s legs after she shared the photo online.
“Miguu nayo ni toothpick,” Anita Ann commented on Karen Nyamu’s post leading to many other negative comments pouring in.
A male netizen by the name Ndiritu Wa Githui put up a spirited fight defending Karen Nyamu from the barrage of toxic vibes.
Karen Nyamu noticed the energy Ndiritu Wa Githui had put in to defend her and she stepped forth to assure him that he needed not to worry about her, insisting she was immune to body-shaming.
The mother of three further stressed she regularly wears short clothes because loves her legs.
“Ndiritu Wa Githui hehehe woishe pls rest I can’t be body shamed. I love my legs that’s why I am always in short clothes,” Karen Nyamu wrote.
Most misunderstood woman
A while back, Karen Nyamu said she was the most misunderstood woman in Kenya while lamenting that she had often been misjudged.
“I am the most misunderstood woman in Kenya. It’s not like I want y’all to understand me, It’s okay. I just love that I’m so real to myself, to my God and to everyone around me,” Karen Nyamu said, adding that she had developed a thick skin for internet trolling.
Karen Nyamu is arguably the most trolled woman in Kenya. Arbiters of moral correctness have always been on her case vilifying her for eloping with Samidoh who was married to Edday Nderitu.
In her defence, Karen Nyamu has always argued her innocence stressing that polygamy is enshrined in Kenya’s laws.
