Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has expressed her joy after being featured in a new Mugithi music video.

Nyamu made a cameo appearance in a new music video by Kikuyu vernacular singer Sarafina Salim.

Sarafina Salim released a new music video dubbed ‘Ruo Rwa Muciari’ which premiered on YouTube on November 15, 2023.

In a post on social media on Friday, November 24, 2023, Karen Nyamu expressed joy in being featured in the music video.

The lawyer-cum-politician noted that she could easily start another career as a video vixen.

Niko kwa wimbo ya subukia💃🏼💃🏼 career mpya huanza hivi sasa 😄😄 good one Sarafina salim so emotional😔 click link to watch 👇🏽,” Karen Nyamu wrote in post on Facebook.

Samidoh’s music career

Karen Nyamu’s appearance in Sarafina Salim’s music video comes weeks after she stated that she could never be featured in Samidoh’s music videos.

Speaking during an interview with the YouTube channel Convo, Nyamu noted that she supports her baby daddy’s music career but nonetheless stressed that she could not appear in his music videos.

“I cannot appear in his music videos. We do not mix love and work,” Karen Nyamu said.

The UDA-nominated senator occasionally attends Samidoh’s music gigs, she even accompanied her to Australia during his music tour in September this year.

Even though she supports Samidoh’s music career, Karen Nyamu once disrupted her baby daddy’s performance in Dubai.

Nyamu was embroiled in a vicious catfight with Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu at a club in Dubai on December 17, 2022.
