Kanyari declines marriage proposal from Nyawira wa Kamotho

The Salvation Healing Ministry founder, Prophet Victor Kanyari, has declined a marriage proposal from a famous Kenyan TikToker, Lucy Nyawira, widely known as Nyawira wa Kamotho.
Speaking during his TikTok live session, Kanyari said that he cannot marry the TikToker, who happens to be his employee, even after numerous requests from Nyawira.
The man of the cloth says that the reason he does not want to be romantically involved is that he hates noise and fears marriage.
“Naona Nyawira analia ati anataka nimuoe, na mimi siwezi muoa, mimi sitaki makelele, naogopa ndoa mimi,” Kanyari said.
According to Kanyari, all those ladies, including Nyawira, who have been publicly professing their love for him, do not love him, they are after his money.
“Hata kina Nyawira wakiniambia wananipenda najua si ati wananipenda ni shilingi yangu my money,” he said.
This comes barely a week after Nyawira, during a live interview with a local radio station, professed her love for Kanyari and asked him to marry her.
Kanyari on Nyawira’s love
Additionally, Kanyari, who seems bothered by Nyawira’s obsession, asked his TikTok followers to pray for her since she is not doing well. He pointed out an incident where he found her crying, and upon interrogation, she said that she was crying because she is madly in love with him.
“Nyawira ako in another level, that girl nilimkuta analia, nikamuuliza ni nini unalia?, ati ‘I love you so much,’ nikamuuliza, must you cry because of me? Please, guys, talk to Nyawira or somebody; pray for Nyawira. She is crying every day; that girl is not eating,” Kanyari revealed.
Advice on single people
Kanyari, who is currently single after divorcing his wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo, took the opportunity and advised single people against succumbing to the pressure of getting into a relationship or marriage.
According to him, not all people were meant to be married.
“Mapenzi does not belong to everybody, kuna watu ambao hawakuumbwa kuoa ama kuoana, mnatulazimisha kuoa na siku zetu hazijafika. Masingle wacheni kuwa na stress si lazima tuoe leo, tutatoa tu, kwani kuna competition ya kuoa? Ati oa ndio watu wafurahi? Hakuna kitu kama hiyo sisi tunatafuta pesa tutaoa wakati tunataka,” he said.
Nyawira on Kanyari’s rejection
After hearing Kanyari’s rejection, a heartbroken Nyawira also took to her TikTok account to vent her frustrations and disappointment. She said she was not only hurt by him but also embarrassed.
“Mimi nimesikia vile prophet Kanyari amesema, sasa hii ni aibu gani? Ndio hii tattoo yani prophet amedeclare the war, nitaambia nini watu? Nitaambia nini watu wetu? Nitaambia nini Youngblood? Heri tu prophet angengoja tu, angangoja ni malize mwaka,” she said.
“Prophet amefanya nihii barabara nitaenda na mask, nitavaa mask atakama hakuna corona,Hii maji nakunywa ni ya Kanyari, hii maji kwa watu wengine ni anointing lakini kwangu ni love portion.“
Nyawira has been publicly professing her love for the father of two, even going as far as tattooing Kanyari’s name on her hand.
