52-year-old singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and 49-year-old occasional Batman actor Ben Affleck are set to finally walk down the aisle as they have confirmed they are engaged again.
The duo originally dated in 2002 and became engaged in 2003 – but ultimately split in 2004 in the face of increasingly intrusive and pressurised press attention.
But now JLo and Ben will finally become husband and wife after the American actor got down on bended knee to ask the chart-topping beauty for her hand in marriage.
J Lo shared the news with her fans via a video message on her newsletter Friday, she’s teary-eyed and simply says, “You’re perfect” before you can catch a glimpse of her beautiful green diamond ring.
The engagement comes on the heels of another very significant step for the couple — they recently plunked down around $55 million on a massive Bel Air estate together.
The home has plenty of room to blend their families with 20,000 sq ft. 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms … not to mention a pool with stunning views.
Ben and Jen first got engaged in late 2002 but called things off in 2004 before they got married.
Later, Jen went on to date and ultimately married singer Marc Anthony with whom she welcomed twins Emme and Maximilian – now aged 14.
JLo and 53-year-old Marc split in 2014 – and she went on to enjoy a high-profile romance with baseball icon Alex Rodriguez, 46, in 2017.
The couple became engaged in March 2019 – but they never made it down the aisle as they broke up and the romance ended in April 2021.
Ben went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner, 49, in 2005 and together they welcomed daughter Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and a 10-year-old son named Samuel.
Ben and Jennifer Garner broke up and had their divorce finalised in 2018.
