Popular talk show host Lynn Ngugi has today come out to speak up and distance herself from blackmail allegations from a previous guest interviewee in one of her viral clips with Mercy Atis.

Lynn on social media uploaded a lengthy caption accompanied by screenshots of text messages of a conversation between them to talk about where she stands and allegations that she essentially profited off Atis’ painful story.

Earlier today, a video of Atis also known for her song ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ and ‘I don’t give a damn’ made circulations online where she was alleging that either the interview should be pulled down or she should be paid for it.

Atis further claimed that after the first interview went viral, Lynn made a follow up asking her to do another interview to address her alleged webcam gig In Mombasa.

Atis says Lynn asked her to address claims that she has been recruiting other women in the ‘porn business’ but to her, she was helping them make ends meet and also said she was not comfortable with that.

Lynn allowed it however she says she already has interviews with the other women Atis introduced the work to but cannot release the video since the case is still in court.

“She claims I was begging her for a follow-up, this conversation shows otherwise, I told her clearly her story could not be executed at that moment,” she noted.

Lynn further laid out her anger and frustrations and callwed out Atis over what she termed as being ungrateful.

“In my entire life, I have never felt the need to reply or engage ungrateful people but today, I have to put everything aside because this touches on my work, integrity and a career I am so passionate about. When I say I am a child of God, I mean it because he always vindicates his own and I am glad I still had our conversation with Mercy Atis archived,” her caption reads in parts.

She concluded by giving a stern warning to people who mistake her kindness for weakness.

“Lastly, I have no bad blood but do not ever again take my kindness for weakness. Remember I was raised by a woman who taught me how to defend myself,” she wrote.
