Hamisa Mobetto and Burkinabe footballer Stéphane Aziz wed in lavish traditional ceremony

Tanzanian fashionista and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto has officially married Burkinabe footballer Stéphane Aziz Ki in a grand traditional wedding.
The extravagant ceremony, which took place in Dar es Salaam, was widely celebrated, with details shared by Zamaradi Media on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
The wedding festivities began on Saturday with an elaborate dowry payment ceremony, where Aziz Ki demonstrated his deep commitment to his bride by presenting a dowry of 30 cows. The official dowry presentation was carried out by Yanga SC President Hersi Said, who represented Aziz Ki’s family. The special event was held at Gofu Grounds in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam, and was attended by close family and friends.
The Yanga SC striker arrived at the event accompanied by several of his teammates, including Pacome Zouzoua, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Yao Kouassi, as well as the club’s Public Relations Officer, Ali Kamwe.
The Tanzanian socialite made a stunning entrance at the ceremony, arriving with her manager, Paul Mangoma. She was preceded by 15 elegantly dressed bridesmaids, adding a touch of glamour and grace to the event. As she took her place at the ceremony, she expressed gratitude for finding a partner she deeply loves and believes is right for her.
Hamisa stated that she felt at peace with her decision and prayed for divine guidance as they embarked on their new chapter together. Meanwhile, Aziz Ki shared his joy, stating that his long search for a life partner had come to an end, as he had found a woman he truly loved.
“This is where I’ve reached, having found someone with genuine love for me. Our souls are in harmony. I pray to God to guide us as we move forward with our plans,” Hamisa expressed.
The wedding celebrations are set to continue with the official ceremony scheduled for February 19, 2025, at The SuperDome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
“All the engagement procedures have been completed. What remains now is the wedding, which will take place tomorrow, Sunday, February 16, 2025. The official ceremony is scheduled for February 19, 2025, at The SuperDome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam,” the Yanga SC striker announced

Hamisa introduced Stephane Aziz Ki, a prolific striker for Yanga SC, to her fans on January 30, 2025. Their public debut as a couple followed months after Hamisa’s much-talked-about breakup with Togolese businessman Kevin Sowax.
“He is exactly the poem I wanted to write,” Hamisa captioned their debut photos on Instagram at the time.
Aziz Ki mirrored these sentiments, posting adorable pictures on his Instagram with the affectionate caption in French: “Paix, Amou, bonheur,” meaning “peace, love, and happiness.”
Hamisa’s previous relationship with Kevin Sowax ended in May 2024 after a year of dating. She confirmed the breakup during an Instagram Q&A session.
“I am very single. I am not in any relationship. Yule tuliachana,” She shared.
Sowax later posted a cryptic message on social media confirming that they had broken up.
“Don’t rush things. When the time is right, it will happen.”
Hamisa Mobetto has consistently been in the limelight, not just for her business ventures but also for her high-profile relationships. Before her romance with Aziz Ki and Sowax, she was linked to American rapper Rick Ross. She was also briefly linked to Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz who she shares a child with.
