In a candid and startling interview, Apostle Anselm Madubuko, husband of gospel singer Emmy Kosgei, has revealed a past deeply entrenched in satanic worship and the occult.

Speaking during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke, Madubuko, now a prominent preacher, detailed his youthful involvement in Freemasonry and a notorious university cult, a life he says he abandoned 42 years ago when he found Jesus Christ.

“I have been born again for 42 years,” Madubuko began, his voice a stark contrast to the tales he was about to tell.

“I was a nightclub DJ and Radio DJ. Where I grew up in Enugu on the eastern part of Nigeria, they all knew my name as far back as when I was 18, 19,” he added.

His narrative took a darker turn as he recounted his initiation into Freemasonry during his university years.

“When I turned 21, I was initiated into the Freemasonry and by the time I was 23, 24 I became a master mason,” he revealed.

Madubuko also disclosed his leadership role in a university-based confraternity, the Capon of Pirates, a group infamous for its destructive and fear-inducing activities.

“And in my final year I became the capon of pirates fraternity, it’s a cult in campus – very dangerous, we could tear down cities,” he said.

“I was so bad that the Christian Union members were afraid to preach to me because everybody knew I was going to hell, everybody knew I was satan’s man. I knew I was going to hell.”

His departure from this dark chapter came through an encounter with a young man who spoke of the love of Christ.

This interaction challenged Madubuko’s reliance on worldly power and introduced him to the concept of true spiritual protection.

“When I was 25, I had seen everything. I had seen women, I had seen money, I had seen fame, I had seen good life. But there was an emptiness inside. Drugs could not cover it, alcohol could not cover it, sex could not cover it, nothing could cover it,” Madubuko explained.

“I was looking for something I didn’t know because this void could not be filled,” he added.

Madubuko’s conversion was not merely a change of heart but a necessary escape from a life he knew very well would only end with his own death if not saved by Jesus.

“You can’t leave the cult without Christ, you will die. When this Jesus talk came in, for the first time I heard God loves you,” he said.

“So when I saw that Jesus opportunity I didn’t know what I was doing but I said let me enter. And I prayed that prayer and when I said amen, everything changed,” Madubuko concluded.

Madubuko’s revelations provide a rare and chilling glimpse into the world of occult practices and the transformative power of faith. They also offer a cautionary tale about the allure of worldly pleasures and the enduring search for spiritual fulfillment.
