Egerton graduate left speechless after Moya David surprises him at campus gates

An Egerton University student who had spent seven years at the campus pursuing a degree in medicine and surgery was left speechless and nearly in tears after TikToker Moya David appeared at the school gates to surprise him.

In a video shared by Moya David on his TikTok page on Sunday, November 30, 2025, the man, who was walking from the graduation square alongside other students, is seen looking confused when Moya handed him a bouquet and began dancing for him.

The unexpected scene drew the attention of many people attending the graduation, and the man’s expression quickly changed as he broke into a smile and tried to mimic Moya’s dance moves.

Moya then popped confetti to celebrate the man’s milestone, and more people gathered around to witness the heartwarming moment.

Thoughtful gift

According to the post’s caption, Moya had been sent by the man’s partner to surprise him for having been strong and supportive to her even while still in school.

In the message she had given Moya to deliver, she poured out her heart, saying she had never felt as proud as she did to have him as a partner.

“Congratulations on achieving your BSc degree in Medicine and Surgery! ❤️ I am so incredibly proud of you. These past seven years have been filled with long nights, early mornings, endless studying, and countless sacrifices, and through it all, you remained committed, focused, and strong. I’ve watched you push through challenges that would have broken many, yet you kept going with determination and grace,” the lady’s note read in part.

The woman, who goes by the name Anjella Wilma, also shared that she had seen the man face challenges that could have nearly broken his resolve to continue school, but she praised him for persevering and not quitting.

“Today, seeing you reach this milestone fills my heart with overwhelming joy. I am beyond happy for you, truly, deeply, beautifully happy. Your success feels like a victory for both of us, and I thank God for giving me the honour of walking beside you through this journey. Thank you for your perseverance, for your dedication, and for the love you still managed to give even in the busiest seasons,” she added.

She further said that she was happy he had now become a doctor and vowed to walk the journey of life together with him.

“I appreciate every moment you endured, every sacrifice you made, and every dream you held onto. My doctor, my pride, my love, this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to see the incredible things you’ll achieve. Congratulations, sweetheart. I am so proud of you,” she added.

The woman later appeared at the end of the surprise and gave the man a warm hug, leaving him in tears.
