Kenyan singer Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua, have set the bar high for anyone wishing to invite them to their residence or event.

Taking to their Insta page, the couple revealed that they require a helipad for them to consider an invitation.

This announcement comes on the heels of their new reality show, “The Bahati Empire,” which has quickly gained popularity.

The show according to the power couple is currently ranked number one on Netflix.

The Bahati Empire‘ offers fans a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of the Bahati family.

Expressing her excitement about their success, Diana Marua shared, “Honestly, I feel like I’m living a dream… and Someone told me, yes you are because it’s a dream come true. @bahatikenya you are my Hero and My Heart remains yours Forever.”

“Yooo!!! If you want to invite TheBahatis to your residence, make sure you own a helipad, standards zimepanda.”

Bahati, Diana reality show on Netflix

On June 7, 2024, Bahati and Diana premiered their new reality TV show, “The Bahati’s Empire,” which focuses on their family life.

Following its debut, Bahati disclosed the production cost of the first season, which was 47 million shillings.

He said he anticipates that the budget for the second season will be significantly higher, possibly around Ksh100 million.

Bahati and Diana have made history as the first Kenyan couple to have their reality show featured on Netflix.

On June 11, 2024, Bahati shared on Instagram that he, along with the show’s production team, ensured that Diana did not see the show until it was available on Netflix.

Specifically, episode four as seen by K24 Digital, titled “WHO IS DIANA?” delves into Diana’s past, which brings up many emotional memories during filming.

“We made sure @Diana_Marua didn’t watch the show until it got to @Netflix on episode 4 (WHO IS DIANA?) we focused on her past and even during filming, things got so emotional bringing up so many sad memories,” he said.

Bahati apologized to his wife for not respecting her privacy, expressing his distress upon seeing her watch the episode for the first time.

The episode highlights Diana’s past, where she recounts visiting her late grandmother and mother, who passed away on March 13, 2009.

Lakini life ni sad one of the things we used to do when we came to visit shosho go to my mum’s grave speak to her just try to reconnect with her and I can’t believe this time around, one year has passed and now we are going to talk or rather we are going to reconnect with both mom and grandmother,” she narrated,

Diana describes the sorrow of revisiting their graves to reconnect with both of them after a year. She shared a heartfelt tribute to her grandmother, expressing love and acknowledging her as their guardian angel.

Additionally, on May 5, 2024, Diana spoke about her past relationships in an interview, revealing that she had been involved with two men simultaneously—one living abroad and the other in Kenya.
