Bongo star Diamond Platnumz has opened up on his relationship with his baby mama, socialite Zari Hassan.

In a recent interview, the singer turned reality star noted that he got nothing but love and respect for the mother of five.

Diamond ruled out the possibility of getting back together with the socialite, saying he would mess up and fall apart again.

“Zari has blessed me with two children and I love them so much. I knew if I ask her to get serious with me, I will have disappointed her and this will make us fall apart again. Our kids will suffer in the midst

“That is why I live to respect her. That is why, even when I am in a relationship, I always respect her. I put other women aside and treat her like a queen,” he said.

The celebrated singer admitted to loving Zari when they were dating, however, disclosing that he had a problem with committing himself to the relationship.

Diamond said he was sure the relationship was not going to work.

“I respected Zari and I still love her. Due to the respect, I didn’t want to hurt her feelings by committing myself to the relationship when I already knew that it wasn’t going to work,” he said.

He added; “I even told her my problem of having many ladies. I told her my blood was still hot hence the relationship was bound to end.”

Ever since their break-up, the couple has been co-parenting their children, Tiffah Dangote and Prince Nillan.
