Tanzania star Diamond Platinumz says he has his heart set on a joint effort with pop star Rihanna.

While promoting his new EP dubbed FOA (First Of All)  in the UK, the singer who was speaking with BBC Swahili revealed he has always wanted to work with the Fenty beauty CEO and still to date, securing a collabo with her is at the top of his wish list.

“Ningependa kufanya kazi na Rihanna nahisi itakuwa ni ngoma kali sana, kama sio kwenye album hii basi album yangu inayofuata, tumeshaongea na Rihanna na timu yake na kila kitu kipo sawa, kwa mambo yanayoendelea kwa Rihanna sasa, inaweza ikafanya akawepo kwenye album hii au ijayo.”

“(I would love to work with Rihanna because I believe we would make such a hit song. We are already in communications with her and if all goes well then she will appear in my next album and if not this one then the next album),” he said in optimism.

That is however likely not to happen anytime soon since the mom-to-be has other priorities these days as she is heavily pregnant and almost due anytime.

While he manifests an urge for a Rihanna collab, Diamond has also teamed up with a number of big names on his upcoming album which is still awaiting a release date.

He named a few including Davido, Wizkid, Swiss Beat (who he says is the executive producer), Wiz Khalifa and The Game.
