‘May your legacy keep growing’ – Comedians celebrate Churchill’s birthday in style

Comedian and pioneer of the Kenyan comedy scene Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill celebrated his 47th birthday on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in grand style.

The event took place during the weekend’s edition of the Churchill Show at the Museum Hill Luis Leakey Auditorium and it was an evening full of laughter, joy, and vibrant celebrations.

Comedians such as Eddie Butita, Chipkeezy, DJ Shiti, MC Jessy and other prominent celebrities showed up to honour their boss and ‘father of comedy’ as they describe him.

The celebration was marked by a blue and gold three-tier birthday cake, with an image of Churchill himself.

Comedian Chipukeezy took to Instagram to share his birthday wishes.

“Happy Birthday! The legend lives on – keep inspiring and may your legacy keep growing.”

MC Jessy, one of the early employees of Churchill also penned a hearty message to mark the joyous occasion.

“Bash ya mdosi ni leo pale Museum Hill Luis Leakey Auditorium.”

“Kiongos, mheshimiwa, tajiri, mkuu. May you grow to be toothless…oooh and you must have been a beautiful baby,” MC Jessy said in another post.

Churchill has since expressed his gratitude to his supporters and colleagues for the outpouring of love and warm wishes.

“Thank you all for the warm birthday wishes. I truly appreciate each message and your kind thoughts. Grateful for the support and good vibes,” he shared.

Churchill rose to fame through his popular comedy show, ‘Churchill Live‘, later rebranded as ‘Churchill Show‘. Beyond comedy, Churchill is also known for his work in radio as a host on Classic 105 FM and his contributions to nurturing new talent through platforms like Churchill Academy.
