Content creator and dancer Chebet Ronoh has spoken out against cosmetic procedures, saying she cannot accept that people who alter their bodies for aesthetics truly love themselves.

In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Chebet said, “No one is convincing me that they love themselves if they do a cosmetic procedure. More so if you are a very healthy person who could have just gone to the gym or been on a calorie deficit. For one year only, and you are good to go.”

“You cannot convince me you love yourself just for aesthetics?” she posed

“Nah, fam, mind you, there are complications, and it is a rabbit hole because it could give you body dysmorphia. You are going to consistently want to alter things, change something; it is not going to be perfect to your eyes. Or eventually. What happens when you want to change your mind?”

Standing by natural choices

Chebet said that she has always valued natural methods and avoids anything that changes the body through chemical or physical interventions outside the natural process.

Earlier, she had explained that she sees her body as a reflection of her life choices and health, not something to be permanently modified for temporary aesthetics. She said she will never undergo surgery for cosmetic reasons and urges others to respect her choices.

“Call me traditional, call me backwards. But I can never go under the knife. I can never do such a thing. And if you are planning it or have already done so, don’t get offended. Remember this is my page, this is my body, and this is my life. Remember,” she said.

Chebet also called out brands promoting Ozempic and BBL procedures, which have approached her with offers to change her body. She made it clear that she does not support these trends and will not participate in altering her body for marketing or social media purposes.

Chebet continues to advocate for natural health, fitness, and self-acceptance, saying that loving oneself does not require surgery or artificial enhancements.
