The digital content creator and influencer Amira has undergone an arm lift cosmetic surgery months after going through four corrective plastic surgical procedures.
Taking to her InstaStories on Thursday, October 3, 2024, shared a photo to update her followers on the latest move.
Excited, Amira revealed that she will no longer struggle with bat arms after undergoing a successful correctional surgery.
“No mere bat arms we did it with Keratuart. Home recovering from Arm lift, Lipo 360 no more bat arms we did it,” she wrote.
Arm lift surgery
Arm lift surgery also known as a brachioplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the back part and the undersurface of your upper arm, from your shoulder to your elbow.
It gets rid of extra skin and fatty tissue by making your upper arm look smoother and smaller.
This type of surgery is often done after weight-loss surgery, many people who have had weight-loss surgery are interested in reshaping surgeries.
Amira’s cosmetic surgeries
On March 22, 2024, the beauty and lifestyle influencer underwent four plastic surgeries following her 45-kilogram weight loss.
While celebrating after going through the corrective procedures as she had planned, Amira, took to her Instagram account and shared photos and videos of herself in the surgical room and recuperation.
“Finally did it…Alhamdulillah my surgery was a success. Am very swollen and sore but am getting the best care and love. I will share my healing journey hopefully soon. I got a breast lift, thigh plasty, lipo and a tummy tuck. I know it’s a lot,” said Amira.
“So how do I start? You all know my journey from when I was over 130kgs almost 140kgs sometimes! That is a hard place to be because one, you are big! Two, you know you are big but 3 you don’t understand why stress is not helping to lose weight there is something called “stress eating”! Can you imagine how you are stressed and the answer to a big stressed me is to eat and continue the never-ending cycle of “Eat, Pray(become big), love (stressed because you are big then, eat) and repeat Eat, Pray, Love!”.
The four cosmetic procedures that she underwent included;
1. Breast lift to change the shape of her breasts, the surgery is done by removing excess skin and reshaping breast tissue to raise the breasts.
2. Thigh plasty to remove excess skin and fat from the thigh area to create smoother skin and contour of her thighs and lower body.
3. Liposuction is a procedure to suck fat from specific areas of the body such as the stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction changes the shapes of these areas in a process called contouring.
4. Tummy tuck is a cosmetic procedure done to improve the shape and appearance of the abdomen by removing excess skin and fat from the tummy area.
