Former Tusker Project Fame star Alvan Love has resurfaced with a statement days after an emotional TikTok live, which laid bare his financial woes, including a staggering Ksh60K debt accrued through Airbnb stays.

The singer, who left fans emotional after breaking down on camera while narrating his financial struggles, has now posted a bold message announcing a follow-up TikTok live session where he promises real talk and a deep dive into life, business, and resilience.

In his post shared on Sunday, July 20, 2025, Alvan invited fans to join him on TikTok on Monday at 8:00 pm EAT, promising an honest, unfiltered conversation about survival, branding, and collaborations.

He hinted that the upcoming session will be a mix of humour, strategy, and raw truth, stating that men often find it hard to open up about struggles without something to break the tension.

“First, live after the tears. Let us meet tomorrow for some deep conversations and relaxation. After the crying, what’s next? The whisky is ready, the questions are ready, and the resolve is firm. This is not the usual; this is chaos and business,” he wrote, signalling his determination to bounce back stronger.

The artiste, who will host the live session alongside content creator Nevy, said the discussion will revolve around brands, culture, collaborations, and the power of marketing strategies.

He urged fans to “suit up and strategise” or simply join in with a cup of tea or mala, assuring them of a dynamic session that feels like a boardroom turned into a raw and candid hangout.

“We will have our whisky ready; bring yours too, or milk or tea. Men find it hard to open up without something to ease the mood. 😎This is not a habit. This is chaos and business. Join us live tomorrow at 2 AM with AlvanLove, and we will be joined by @Nevy for some hot discussions.

“We will talk about brands, collaboration strategies, mischief, and why culture is the true marketing plug. Never say you did not hear this and that you are not ready for it! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ This will be like a boardroom that has taken a double shot and started telling the truth. Whisky is ready. Questions are ready. What’s your stance? Suit up and strategise — or just relax with your milk,” Alvan said.

Financial struggle

The former Tusker Project Fame star broke down during an emotional TikTok live session, revealing the full extent of his personal and financial struggles.

The artiste candidly shared how he has endured immense hardship, leaving him physically and emotionally drained, yet he remains determined to be transparent with his fans who have stood by him.

Alvan began by expressing his faith and weariness, saying that he hoped God would stand with him amid the difficult moment.

“Come closer and see; Jesus has favoured me. I am tired. All of you are there and love my content, so I don’t have the luxury to be secretly tired.”

He opened up about the pain that pushed him into addiction, explaining that he had also been smoking for eight years.

“I have been smoking for eight years, and I started when my girlfriend died. I lost my job and my girlfriend around the same time, and that is when I started smoking.”

The artiste further revealed how a compassionate woman named Immaculate stepped in during his lowest point.

“Immaculate called me and told me about Airbnb groups who knew my story of staying in different places,” Alvan said.

He shared that he initially owed Ksh60,000, a debt she patiently allowed him to settle over time.

“After I finished paying, she took me to her bedsitter,” he added, urging others to respect her generosity and not cause her any trouble.
