Singer Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee is a woman of steel, a quality that can be demonstrated with her tremendous achievements.

Since storming the entertainment industry a few years ago, Akothee has demonstrated that anybody can be whoever they want to be regardless of his or her social background. She has achieved a lot over the years, and today she is ranked as one of the most successful musicians not only in Kenya but in Africa.

In her latest social media post, she reminded her fans of the kind of sacrifices she made in her early years to be where she is today.

The Benefactor hitmaker revealed that in her early 30s, she would not organize birthday parties because she was broke.

“When my daughter asked me why she never saw me on holidays or slaying🤔 my answer was; I was broke with my hands full of responsibilities, I had priorities in life in my 30s,” she wrote.

Now that she has made it, Akothee now says that she can party hard in most luxurious hotels and yachts. Last year, the mother of five celebrated her 40th birthday at one of the luxurious hotels in the country. This year, she is taking to another level.

Akothee who will be turning 41 in April this year, said that she will celebrate her birthday in the sea. She revealed that she had made reservations on a luxurious yacht for her birthday.

Joking about her upgrade, the controversial music artiste claimed that those who want to join her birthday celebration in April will have to pay 20,000 Euros (approximately Ksh2.6M).

Now in my 40s see my birthday package… You can join me if you can pay 20,000 Euro… Sorry, my birthday is taken 💪…The 4th floor it is,” she said.
