Kenyan socialite and reality star Vera Sidika has revealed that her ex-husband, musician Brown Mauzo, tried to change her personality during their marriage.
The mother of two made these statements in agreement with a post by a fan who in her opinion, Mauzo was trying to turn Vera into a good girl that she isn’t.
According to the fan, Vera Sidika is a baddie and anyone unable to handle that energy should be out of the door.
The fan had suggested that Mauzo was attempting to “unbaddie” Sidika, implying that he wanted to tone her down.
“Vera’s husband didn’t know he was marrying a baddie. My girl is a baddie, and if you can’t handle it, boy bye,” the fan commented.
“Don’t come into my life and try to unbaddie me,” Vera responded in a quick rejoinder.
Sidika, Mauzo never getting back together
In a past Q&A session on her Instagram, Vera implied there was zero chance of her rekindling her relationship with Mauzo.
“Have you ever thought maybe you and Mauzo would fix things, get back together respectively?” a fan posed.
Vera said she would never be interested in reconciling with the musician.
“Oh babe that would never happen. Respectfully,” she remarked.

Sidika, marriage is a trap
In a past Q&A, the mother two told her followers that she has come to love being on her own and enjoying her freedom and she does not wish to lose that.
While terming marriage a trap, the mother of two says she is not willing to give it another trial.
“Would you still give marriage a chance?” a fan asked to which she responded saying; “Never. It’s a trap. I love my freedom.”
Vera further noted that she is the happiest she has ever been and loves being single.
Another curious fan asked about how her breakup with her baby daddy singer Brown Mauzo unfolded when Vera disclosed her union was over four months before the duo parted ways.
“Was it easy for you to leave your marriage?” a fan quipped.

In August 2023, Mauzo took to social media to announce the end of his relationship with Vera.
The father of five penned a series of messages, updating his fans about their mutual decision to part ways amicably.
Mauzo expressed gratitude for the moments he and Vera Sidika shared during their time together.
“I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” he shared.
The singer went on to thank their fans for the continuous support they received throughout their relationship.
“We want to thank you all for your unwavering love and support throughout our relationship. Your encouragement has meant the world to us. As we embark on this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this time,” he added.
Despite the separation, Brown Mauzo expressed fondness for the memories they had created together.
“Though our paths may diverge, we will always cherish the memories we’ve created together. We both remain grateful for the lessons learned and the growth we’ve experienced. Our focus now is on healing and embracing the future with open hearts. Thank you once again for being a part of our journey,” he concluded.
