Religious leader and prophet Walter Magaya is in Kenya.

The founder and senior pastor of Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries (P.H.D) and who is known for his tremendous miracles of healing and money-making arrived in the country this morning and was received by Kenyans in a magnificent ceremony at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

He will be hosted by Phillip Mpaayei, the Senator of Kajiado County.

According to reports, the prophet will first minister in a mega crusade at Kitengela Grounds in Kajiado County.

He will be in the country for three days if what is posted on his social media accounts is anything to go by.

“Truly, Kenya will never be the same and all who shall be present will be set free from every bondage in Jesus’ Name!,” part of the statement on his social media pages that was accompanied by his three-day programme, read.

The self-proclaimed prophet and faith healer once claimed that he has discovered a cure for HIV/AIDS, and cancer, an announcement that elicited sharp criticism with critics accusing him of preying on the vulnerable.

In 2019, the prophet pleaded guilty to contravening the Medicines Control Act by selling an unapproved drug after sleuths arrested him and seized a herbal drug that he said could cure people who had HIV and Aids.

Interestingly, Zimbabwe, where the prophet comes from has the sixth highest HIV prevalence rate in sub-Saharan Africa, according to UN reports.
