Six students from Kilimani Secondary School will be arraigned in court on Tuesday, January 11 after they were nabbed while trying to set their dormitory ablaze.

The six were arrested on Sunday by police officers from Kilimani.

The school is located next to State House which is the most protected compound in the area.

It has also emerged that the incident is the second one in the recent past.

On Friday, January 7, the students tried to pull a similar move in vain.

“Eight beds were burnt down in the incident before the fire was contained,” Andrew Muturi, the Kilimani Police boss said.

K24 Digital has established that police spent the better part of yesterday (Monday, January 10) grilling the students.

The police wanted to establish whether more people were involved in the Sunday night incident.
