Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome on Thursday night faced it rough when she clashed with rowdy youth in Kiambaa constituency.

Wahome, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto came face to face with a group of youth who were heard telling her off and asking her to go home since it was late at night.

In an amateur video making rounds on social media, Wahome is seen walking away as the rowdy youth follow her.

Behind her is a group of journalists who are seen carrying microphones as they followed the MP.

At some point, the rough voiced youth are heard telling Wahome that the results she was talking about were being shared by former State House Communication personnel Denis Itumbi.

Wewe toka hapa, hizo results zako ni za Itumbi (Get out of here, those results of yours are Itumbi’s)” the youth are heard telling her.

The incident was similar to what happened on Thursday morning where Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya was asked to leave a polling station within Kiambaa constituency.

Kimunya who also doubles up as the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly had no option but to leave the centre as the rowdy youth told him off.

By the time of going to press, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was yet to announce who had won the race.

However, UDA’s candidate John Wanjiku Njuguna was leading the race with 16,109 votes while Jubilee’s Njama Kariri was second with 15, 928 votes.
