Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria now wants Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba to relinquish her current position as the Vice-Chair of the Roads and Transport Committee at the National Assembly.
This comes months after Wamuchomba took over from Kuria who was kicked out from the post in a Jubilee Party purge that targeted allies of Deputy President William Ruto.
According to Kuria, Wamuchomba should quit the seat so that he can take over again now that they are members of one political camp.
He also welcomed the female MP to the Tanga Tanga camp saying it is time for her to come out boldly and push for the agenda of the Hustlers’ Nation that is after ensuring the DP Ruto wins the presidency in the 2022 General Elections.
“I fully welcome my good friend Gathoni wa Muchomba to the Hustler Nation. But the beginning of repentance is undoing certain things. I was robbed of my position as the Vice-Chair of Roads & Transport Committee and it was given to Wa Muchomba,”
“My friend Gathoni. Do not deal with stolen goods. It’s an offence in law and in the Bible. Return to me my Vice-Chair seat since we are now both members of Tanga Tanga which according to Kieleweke is a criminal enterprise,” Kuria said.
His remarks come barely a week after Wamuchomba called it quits in the Kieleweke political camp that is against DP Ruto’s 2022 bid.
The Kiambu Woman Rep met DP Ruto at his official Karen Residence where his defection to Tanga Tanga was officially sealed.
Wamuchomba said she had to join the Tanga Tanga camp in consequence of demands presented to her by her constituents who she claimed are members of the Hustlers’ Nation.
