Denis Itumbi, the Digital strategist in the office of Deputy President William Ruto, has given an update of his health status. He also said he was planning to address a rally in Kirinyaga County.
In a post on his official social media accounts, Itumbi said that he was doing well as he thanked God for mysteriously healing him.
“I had very little reason to say, “Merry Christmas, “but I have every reason to rejoice, “Happy New Year.” Indeed, God works in mysterious ways, and my deliverance, ongoing healing, and hope for a better tomorrow are my testimony of abounding grace,” the post read in part.
He thanked his supporters for wishing him well and always encouraging him as he recuperated.
Itumbi said the goodwill messages he had received and the encouragement saw him through the worst experience he has ever had in life.
According to him, the incident in which he was allegedly picked up by unknown assailants and even broke his limbs.
“Thank you for your ceaseless prayer, well wishes, and encouragement; your goodwill saw me through the worst of a truly rough patch and restored my faith in the goodness of people,” he said.
He also said that rogue officers who are being used to frustrate him would not shake his support for the DP Ruto-led hustler nation.
According to Itumbi, on February 13, he will also take the opportunity to ask people to thank God because he saved his life.
Itumbi spent this Christmas festive at Nairobi West Hospital after being found dumped at Lucky Summer estate on December 24.
He was discharged from the hospital on January 1, with doctors assuring him that he was out of danger.
His woes kicked off when news showed that he had been abducted by unknown assailants.
The abductors then assaulted him, leaving him with numerous injuries.
It remains unclear why Itumbi was abducted, but he has always made it clear that his abductees were police officers.
