Morara to Gen Z: Don’t use violence to oust Ruto

Inject Party leader and activist Morara Kebaso has warned the Gen Zs against using violence to remove President William Ruto from power.
Through his X handle on Friday, August 1 2025, the outspoken youth activist said there are only two ways to fix the country.
“You can only change this country in two ways. With your vote at the ballot or with a gun in battle,” Morara wrote on X.
He told the youth to avoid taking the wrong path and instead think carefully about the future of the nation.

Form a party now
Kebaso said Gen Zs must act fast if they want to make real change ahead of the 2027 General Election.
He said most existing parties are owned by people who do not speak for the youth. He mentioned UDA, DAP, ODM and Wiper as examples where young people would struggle to rise unless they had money and tribal backing.
“These members of parliament that you ridicule for their foolishness could win again in 2027 through money and political party influence if you don’t do something,” Morara Kebaso wrote on X.
Kebaso encouraged the youth to register their political party or buy one.
“You can either register one, which will cost you around 3 to 4 million to complete the process, or you can buy one, which will cost you around 10 to 12 million.”
He said fundraising should not be hard if every young person plays a part.
“This is money that you can easily fundraise 1 bob per person.”
Kebaso said he may have taken a step back from active politics, but he still supports the youth in spirit and action.
“I may have taken a step back, but I still want you to succeed because if you fix this country’s economy, I will be on the Forbes list in a minute.”
His message was widely shared and sparked reactions from youth across various social platforms.
