The Late Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso will be buried at her matrimonial home in Fort Ternan in Koru, Muhoroni Constituency in Kisumu County, her husband, Dr Edwin Abonyo, says.
Abonyo told K24 Digital that funeral plans are underway, and that Laboso’s burial date will be announced soon.
The former Sotik MP died on Monday, July 29, at the Nairobi Hospital, where she was being treated for ovarian cancer.
The governor is survived by her husband and three children.
Deputy President William Ruto on Monday announced that Laboso will be accorded a State send-off.
