Laboso burial date set

The Late Bomet Governor, Joyce Laboso, will be buried on Saturday, August 3, at her matrimonial home in Fort Ternan in Koru, Muhoroni Constituency, Kisumu County, her family says.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, August 1 at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi before her body is taken to Bomet for a night vigil.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 2, in Bomet before her remains are flown to Kisumu for burial on Saturday.

Laboso succumbed to ovarian cancer at the Nairobi Hospital on Monday, July 29. She died aged 58.
