Kenyans react to Murathe’s interview on K24

Kenyans on Sunday July 28, expressed mixed reactions following an exclusive interview done by K24 TV journalist Anne Kiguta with the former Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe at his residence at Garden Estate.

Kenyans on Twitter, under the #MuratheOnPunchline that went viral for the better part of Sunday, expressed their opinions and concerns with some accusing Murathe of being hypocritical during the interview.

Some have also cited frustration as the reason why Murathe is desperately opposing DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

During the interview, whenever Murathe would refer to Kenyatta extending his term, he would say, “….he’s not INTERESTED in reviewing his term limit”. Key word is INTERESTED. Why not say, “He WILL NOT…” These guys are up to no good for Kenya. @AnneKiguta #MuratheOnPunchline
