KDF has assured candidates that food and accommodation will be provided during the interview period and has advised them to bring warm clothing.

Unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses in accordance with KDF regulations. The ministry also warned that any attempt to influence the recruitment process through bribery or other corrupt practices will be treated as a criminal offence.
“Any person found engaging in recruitment-related malpractice will be arrested and prosecuted,” the notice stated.
The recruitment drive, announced earlier in September, targets multiple categories, including GSO Cadets, Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen and Women, and Defence Forces Constables.
Entry requirements vary depending on the position, with GSO Cadet (Regular) applicants required to hold a KCSE grade of B (Plain) with C+ in English, Mathematics, and a science subject.
Graduate cadet positions require a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Candidates who successfully complete the interviews and selection will proceed to verification and training at KDF institutions nationwide.
