KDF recruitment 2025: Complete list of recruitment centres and dates

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) on September 14 officially announced the 2025 recruitment drive for General Service Officer Cadets, Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen and Women, and Defence Forces Constables.
The exercise is scheduled to take place throughout October across multiple counties, with each location clearly designated as a recruitment centre to streamline the process for eligible applicants.
In a statement on the same day, KDF urged candidates to note that the recruitment is free, and any form of bribery or malpractice will be treated as a criminal offence.
“The Kenya Defence Forces recruitment drive is FREE and OPEN to all eligible and qualified candidates. Engaging in BRIBERY or any other form of CORRUPTION with the intent to influence the recruitment process is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE. Any individual found to be involved in recruitment-related malpractice will be arrested and prosecuted,” the statement read.
October 13
The recruitment will begin on Monday, October 13, 2025, with Baringo County opening at Kolowa in Kolowa Sub-County. Bungoma County will see activities in Webuye West at Matisi, while Busia County will conduct its recruitment in Busia at Matayos, Butula at Butula, and Teso North at Amagoro.
Elgeyo/Marakwet County will host applicants in Marakwet East at Chesoi, and Homa Bay County will open at Rachuonyo East in Kadongo.
Kajiado County will see candidates in Kisamis, Kajiado West, and Loitoktok in Loitoktok Sub-County. Kakamega County will run its recruitment in Matete, Kisii County, at Kerina in Kisii South, and Kisumu County at Ojolla in Kisumu West.
Kitui County will host candidates in Katulani and Tseikuru, while Kwale County will conduct the exercise at Shimba Hills. Laikipia County has designated Kirima in Ol-Moran as its centre and Lamu County at Amu in Lamu Central. Mandera County will host in Khalalio, Marsabit County in Dukana and Marsabit Central, while Meru County will see activities in Maua, Igembe South, and Gatimbi in Meru Central.
Migori County will open at Sori in Nyatike West, Mombasa at Changamwe, and Murang’a County at Gatanga and Kiria-Ini in Mathioya Sub-County. In Nairobi City, Dagoretti North, Dagoretti South, and Kibra will all have their recruitment at Jamhuri Grounds, while Lang’ata and Westlands Sub-Counties are similarly scheduled at the same venue. Embakasi North, Kasarani, Mathare, Njiru, Roysambu, and Ruaraka sub-counties in Nairobi will report to Kasarani Miscellaneous Centre, while Embakasi Central, East, South, and West, Kamukunji, Makadara, and Starehe will converge at Nyayo Stadium.
October 14
On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, recruitment will continue in Baringo County at Tiaty West in Chemolingot. Bungoma will host applicants in Bumula, Bungoma South, and Webuye East, while Busia County continues in Teso South. Elgeyo/Marakwet County will open at Marakwet West in Kapsowar, and Garissa County at Garissa.
Homa Bay will have its recruitment in Suba Central, Kajiado North in Ngong, Mashuru in Kajiado, Kericho at Sigowet, and Kiambu at Kiambaa in Karuri will also host recruitment.

Kilifi County will run activities at Kaloleni, Kisii at Marani, Kisumu at Seme in Kombewa, Kitui at Kitui Central and Kyuso, Mwingi East at Mathuki, Kwale at Matuga, Laikipia at Nyahururu, Lamu at Lamu West in Mpeketoni, Mandera East, Marsabit South/Laisamis, North Horr in Marsabit North, Igembe Central in Meru, Igoji in Meru, and Nyatike South in Migori.
Further, Murang’a South will run its activities at Kenol, Nakuru North in Bahati, Nakuru West at Kapkures, Narok East in Nairegea, Nyamira at Manga, North Kinangop in Nyandarua, Tetu in Nyeri, Tana River at Hola, Kibish in Turkana, Luanda in Vihiga, Wajir East, and Pokot North in Alale Sub-County.
October 15
Wednesday, October 15, 2025, will see Baringo County open at Mukutani, Bungoma at Kimaeti and Tongaren, Busia at Teso Central in Amukura, Garissa at Dadaab, Homa Bay at Suba South in Magunga, Isiolo at Merti, Kajiado at Elangata Wuas Maili 46 and Central Kajiado, Kakamega at Kakamega Central, Kericho at Belgut Sosiot, Kiambu at Ndeiya Nderu, Kilifi at Rabai, and Kisii at Nyamache.
The day will also see Kitui County open at Lower Yatta in Kyusyani and Migwani in Mwingi West, Kwale at Kinango, Lamu at Lamu East in Faza, Mandera at Kiliwehiri, Marsabit at Loiyangalani, Meru at Mutuati and Nkuene-Mitunguu in Nkubu, Migori at Nyatike North in Macalder, Murang’a at Kandara, Nakuru at Njoro and Subukia, Narok at Narok Central and Nyamira at Borabu.
Nyandarua will further run its activities at Kipipiri in Miharati and West Ol Joro Orok, Nyeri at South Tetu, Siaya at Bondo, Tana River at Tana Delta in Garsen, Turkana at Turkana North in Lokitaung, Uasin Gishu at Moiben, Vihiga at Tiriki East in Shaviringa, Wajir at Sabuli, and West Pokot at Sigor and Kabichbich.
October 16
The exercise will proceed on Thursday, October 16, 2025, covering Baringo at Baringo North in Kabartonjo, Bungoma at Kopsiro, Busia at Nambale, Garissa at Bura East and Liboi, Homa Bay at Mbita, Isiolo at Isiolo, Kajiado at Oloililai in Ngatatoek, Kakamega at Khwisero and Lugari in Lumakanda, Kericho at Kericho East, Kiambu at Githunguri and Limuru, and Kilifi at Magarini Marafa.
The day will also see Kisii open at Etago, Kitui at Mumoni in Katse and Mwingi Central, Kwale at Msambweni, Samburu at Samburu, Machakos at Machakos and Makueni at Mbooni East in Mbumbuni, Mandera at Banisa, Marsabit North/Chalbi Maikona, Meru at Abogeta in Kanyakine and Imenti North in Meru Town, Migori at Mabera, Murang’a at Kigumo, and Nakuru at Kuresoi South in Keringet.

Further, Narok will open at Narok South in Ololulung’a, Nyamira at Nyamira South, Nyandarua at Gathanji in Ngano and Wanjohi, Nyeri at Mukurwe-Ini, Siaya at Rarieda in Madiany, Trans-Nzoia at Kwanza, Turkana at Turkana West in Kakuma, Uasin Gishu at Eldoret West/Turbo, Vihiga at Mbale, Wajir at Buna, and West Pokot at Kacheliba.
October 17–25
The recruitment process will continue daily through Saturday, October 25, 2025, rotating across all counties, including Baringo, Bomet, Bungoma, Embu, Garissa, Homa Bay, Isiolo, Kajiado, Kakamega, Kericho, Kiambu, Kilifi, Kirinyaga, Kisii, Kisumu, Kitui, Laikipia, Machakos, Makueni, Mandera, Marsabit, Meru, Migori, Mombasa, Murang’a, Nakuru, Nandi, Narok, Nyeri, Siaya, Taita Taveta, Tharaka-Nithi, Trans-Nzoia, Turkana, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, and Wajir.
Key centres include Nyayo Stadium, Jamhuri Grounds, Kasarani Miscellaneous, and other designated sites across the counties.
