Popular comedian Felix Odiwour aka Jalang’o is confident that he will win the Lang’ata Parliamentary seat.

He says it is all system go in his ambition to unseat the current MP Nixon Korir.

MP Korir is serving his first term. He won on Jubilee Party ticket in 2017.

“I am going to be the MP for Lang’ata. I urge my followers to register as voters in Lang’ata so that we can develop the constituency to another level. I don’t go for things I cant get,” Jalang’o said.

The pronouncement comes after months of speculations about whether he will run for the seat or not.

Jalang’o is the second to declare interest after Silas Jakakimba, an aide to Raila Odinga, who declared interest in the same seat.

Jakakimba announced weeks ago that he will be in the race for the Lang’ata Parliamentary seat.

Jalang’o is one of the ardent supporters of the ODM leader Raila but he is yet to announce the party he will use to vie for the Lang’ata seat.

Jakakimba, on the other hand, being an aide to the ODM leader will most likely seek an ODM party ticket.

The two will wrestle each other for the ODM party ticket in the event they both seek Raila’s party ticket.
