Former Migori Senator Wilfred Machage is dead

Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria Wilfred Machage has died. The ex-Migori senator’s family confirmed that he succumbed to an illness that he suffered while in Nigeria.

The veteran politician is said to have collapsed and died in his home in Abuja, Nigeria.

Speaking to a local publication, Machage’s brother revealed that the former diplomat collapsed moments after he had lunch.

Machage’s twin brother, Sospeter Magita, stated that he was healthy and that his demise came as a shocker to them.

“It is a very sad moment that I have today lost my best friend and confidant,” he said.
