Former Kibwezi West Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile is dead, family confirms.

The 57-year-old died on Saturday night at Nairobi Hospital.

His family says the former legislator has been ailing for years.

His body has been taken to Lee Funeral Home.

“He was admitted at the hospital last week on Thursday. He died in the morning hours and we are currently at Lee Funeral home,” his son Kioko Ndile said.

Kalembe Ndile was former leader of Tiptip party before the party joined Jubilee.

Away from his political life, he was engaging in the business of selling sand and ballast.
