According to flight records, the Kenya Airways aircraft departed from Mumbai late Wednesday night and landed safely at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Thursday, October 16, 2025, morning.
Aviation enthusiasts and members of the public tracked the flight online, noting every movement as the plane made its way home carrying the body of one of Kenya’s most influential political figures. Kenya Airways later released an official statement acknowledging the team that undertook the mission.
