In the last 24 hours, Kenya recorded a 3.1% positivity rate with 86 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,789.
From the cases, 84 are Kenyans while 2 are foreigners, with 44 being males and 42 being females.
In terms of age, the youngest is a seven-month-old baby while the oldest is 96 years old.
Kenya has now recorded a total of 165,465 positive cases from 1,744,393 tests done.
Reports indicate that 123 patients have recovered from the disease, with 58 from home-based and isolation care while 65 are from different health facilities.
This brings the total number of recoveries to 113,612 with 82,542 from home-based and isolation care and 31,070 from various health facilities.
2 patients have succumbed bringing the total fatalities to 3,003.
1,030 patients are currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 4,815 patients are on home-based care.
A total of 109 patients are in ICU with 24 on ventilatory support and 70 on supplemental oxygen.
While another 15 patients are on the observation, 81 are separately on supplementary oxygen with 76 of them in general wards and five are in the High Dependency Unit.
